Chelsea star Diego Costa has turned his form around this season after talks with Antonio Conte over his discipline on the pitch.
The Spain international has been in lethal form recently, scoring five goals and weighing in with two assists in his last seven games for the Blues after a slightly slow start.
Costa is now top of the Premier League scoring charts with ten goals in twelve games, just two off his total tally for the entire of last season.
Despite rumours that the 28-year-old wanted to leave Chelsea for a return to Atletico Madrid in the summer, it seems new manager Conte has completely worked his magic on the player after talks earlier this season.
According to the Daily Mail, the Italian advised Costa to learn to keep his cool on the pitch, and channel his aggression into his performances rather than into scrapping with opponents and referees.
This has worked wonders so far, with Costa looking energized and showing himself to be one of Chelsea’s top performers without resorting to the kind of petty on-pitch fights fans had become accustomed to seeing from him.
