Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka insists he’ll never change the aggressive side of his game or he wouldn’t be the same player anymore.

The Switzerland international arrived in north London this summer with the reputation of being something of a hot-head on the pitch, and he’s already picked up his first red card for the Gunners.

Xhaka, 24, has largely impressed since moving to the Premier League this summer, despite a lack of regular starts for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Still, he insists Arsenal knew what they were getting when they signed him and that he’s fully settled in England.

‘I knew about London before I got here of course, but I’ve settled in quick and the team has treated me well,’ he told Viasat.

‘Arsenal knew how I played when they signed me. It can be both positive or negative, but that’s the way I play.

‘Playing rough is my playing style. If someone takes that away from me, I will no longer be Granit Xhaka.’
