Wadada, who represented Kokona/Keffi/Karu Federal Constituency in Nasarawa State between 2003 to 2011, was received into the fold of the APC on Monday by the APC Chairman of his Tudun Kofa ward, Tanko Sodangi, in Keffi town, Keffi Local Government area of the state.

Speaking on his defection, the former lawmaker said he opted to decamp to the APC due to the internal wrangling in the PDP.

According to the former Reps member, “What made me to leave PDP is the concern for my people and lack of unity in PDP; PDP is not united, hence the need for me to dump PDP for APC.”
