Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay are free to leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
Schneiderlin and Depay have struggled for minutes since Mourinho took over the reins at United in the summer and both have been heavily linked with moves away from the Red Devils.
Mourinho insisted, ahead of United’s trip to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, that unhappy players are within their rights to request a transfer away if it suits the club.
‘I am always open to listen to offers for every player,’ Mourinho said.
‘But, more than listen to offers, I am always ready to listen to the players themselves.
‘So any player who knocks on my door and is not happy and wants to move, when the offers are correct, I will never stop a player from leaving even if it is to a rival.
‘When Juan Mata left Chelsea to come to Manchester United, no problem at all. In my mentality no problem at all. I am always open.’
