Ondo Governor Offers Automatic Employment To Six First Class Graduates

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, on Wednesday announced that the state government will offer automatic employment to six indigenes of the state who graduated with First Class honours from various universities.

The governor made the announcement  while speaking at the 2016 Academic Excellence Award ceremony held at the International Conference Centre, Akure.

The beneficiaries are:  Akinbowa Tope (Medicine) from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife; Ogundare  Michael (Industrial Chemistry) University of Ilorin; and Omotuyi Ajoke (System Engineering) University of Lagos.

Others are Akinola Oluwatoyin (Chemical Engineering) University of Lagos; George Oladayo (System Engineering) University of Lagos; and Falade Olayinka, the first female student to have first class in Law School from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.

Mimiko said  his administration had achieved huge success in education sector, saying he had been able to bring together balance of performance of public and private schools.

You know now.. they would be owed surely. .even when they retire, their pension won’t be paid or would be looted and they will regret ever working in public service… The past is the key to the future and just by looking at the way past workers are treated, you will surely know these ones won’t be an exception..

  2. Mimiko has been the clog in the educational advancement of Ondo state students. His regime stopped burssary award for five years now. I wonder what this cosmetic gesture is meant for. In any case, who want to work in a state where the likes of mimiko can come and ride the people roughshod for 8 years?

    I advise those brilliant souls should decline his Greek gift.
