Nigeria actually attains more progress when Buhari travels – Reno Omokri hails Osinbajo

Former Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has stated that the federal government performs better whenever President Muhammadu Buhari is out of the country.

He also commended Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, for taking charge of affairs and effectively governing the country.

Reno, in a post on his Facebook page yesterday, wrote: “I am loving the Vice President, Pastor Professor Yemi Osinbajo.”

“In the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, Osinbajo led the FEC meeting and forced ministers to deliberate for seven hours! It is the longest meeting ever under this administration. Wow! My kind of man!

“I have previously said that Nigeria actually attains more progress when PMB travels. Only on Monday, while in Rivers state, Osinbajo declared that the Federal Government would work with illegal refineries and help convert them to modular refineries.

“Such forward thinking. Professor Osinbajo represents the Progressive in the All Progressive Congress. I applaud and celebrate him today”.

Meanwhile, co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls, BBOG, Aisha Yesufu has advised President Buhari to remain in the United Kingdom as Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was doing well.

The activist said the best Buhari could do as President was ‘to assign the best people to work, while he supervises.’

Buhari has been out of Nigeria since January 19.

  1. Reno Omokri, for all the time your former principal, Goodluck Jonathan presided over the affairs of governance in Nigeria, if the country made as much as half the progress the country has so far made under PMB, we wouldn’t be in the mess we currently find ourselves. My verdict:a half active PMB performs far much better than “a hyperactive” your Goodluck Jonathan towards the progress of Nigeria!

  2. What Reno actually said is true The VP does more and Nigeria progresses more when PMB is not around>>>>>So its obvious PMB should please step down and allow others do the work

  3. What stopped the regime that Reno Omokri was an intergral part of for so many years from declaring to work with illegal refineries, or upgrading the quality of life of the Niger-Deltans? The ambience of Niger-Delta was poor seven years ago when GEJ, an indigene assumed power (ignoring the initial 2 years as VP, and another 2 years as President to complete Yaradua’s tenure), and things were no better slightly less than 2 years ago when he left office despite the oil boom. I think this man should give room for the current regime to work. If he has constructive criticism, he is always welcome to pass it to Govt, but such divisive comments are not expected from a man who was an inner caucus member of a regime under which unbelievable looting from which we are still suffering was perpetuated.
