Antonio Conte reveals Eden Hazard injury concern after collision with teammate in training

Antonio Conte has revealed Eden Hazard has an injury concern after a collision with a teammate in training.

But the Chelsea boss is confident that the problem is not severe, with the Belgian still in contention of featuring against West Ham on Monday.

When asked for an injury update ahead of the trip to the London Stadium, Conte said: ‘Nothing important but a little problem for Eden.

‘He got kicked but I think it’s nothing serious – the rest of the team is feeling good.

‘It happened in training, on Wednesday, he got kicked – I don’t remember who by!’

Slaven Bilic’s Hammers endured a dismal start to the campaign but have recovered to move into the top-half of the Premier League.

Chelsea were beaten by their London rivals in the cup earlier in the campaign, and Conte is naturally hoping for a different outcome this time around.

‘The result wasn’t good for us,’ said Conte. ‘We want to try to take three points from this game, it will be difficult because we all know the difficulty of this type of game.

‘But we are preparing very well, and in the right way with commitment and focus. For sure it will be tough.’
