Fayose Advises Buhari To Give Kanu, Dasuki, Others Unconditional Release

Ayodele Fayose, the Ekiti State Governor,  has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to grant unconditional release to the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.) and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The governor admonished Buhari to reciprocate the mercy of God upon his life by also showering mercy on his fellow citizens.

The president returned to the country on Friday after 49 days medical vacation in United Kingdom.

Fayose, who gave the advice in a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, urged the president to build on the gains achieved in his absence.

He said, “While you were away, peace returned to the Niger Delta, impacting positively on crude oil production and sales. The economy also improved with the appreciation of the Naira. Now that you are back, it will not be right to put the country on the reverse gear again through some pig-headed policies and truculent, militarist posturing.

“You have received the mercy and favour of God. You have come back from medical vacation alive. By what people had said and by your own account, it is the mercy and favour of God that have seen you through as well as the prayers of everyone.

“It is incumbent on you to now also show mercy. I advise you to show mercy to Nnamdi Kanu and Sambo Dasuki and such other Nigerians that are suffering unjust, punitive, illegal, and unconstitutional incarceration under your directive or administration.

“Allow all those who have been granted bail by the court to enjoy their bail while their trial continues. This is the right, just, and merciful thing to do. To continue to disdain the court is reckless and unconstitutional. Moreover, it is a sin and it is oppressive.

“God is not happy at the oppression of the poor by the rich and of the weak by the strong. Those of us in authority must not use our God-given powers to oppress the citizens placed under our charge. Only righteousness exalts a nation, Sin is a reproach and God is continually angry with the wicked. It is wickedness to refuse to obey court orders and trample upon the constitutional and God-given, fundamental human rights of citizens”, he said.

Fayose added that for God to continue to hear and answer the prayers of teeming Nigerians for Buhari’s quick and complete recovery, he, too, must show mercy.

  1. Fayose is actually pleading for Dasuki, the former NSA, so that Dasuki could sneak out as a credible witness of his (Fayose) fraudulent enrichment through the office of the latter.

Fayose is morally bankrupt to plead forgiveness of sins. If GOD shall
mark sinners with indelible ink or marks, who is Fayose to preach forgiveness? He would be too stinking to come near GOD. But GOD is merciful.

This is a man who is part of the looters of Nigeria’s treasury with reckless abandon;a ruler who is owing his staffers months of unpaid salaries, a ‘governor’ who could not be trusted for a week even on his pronouncement on mere cost of his “Ankara” for which he deceived hundreds of thousands of people to put their names down for;cohearsing them for fear of being signalled out for punishment if done otherwise.

A ruler who seizes the ignorance or innocence of Ekiti people to feign populararity at the slightest opportunity?

Fayose , we agree that, it is true that to “err is human, while forgiveness is devine”. But please note, that the scripture also pronounces that”no sinner shall go without punishment” -particularly sinners like you Ayodele Fayose. Just be ready for Kuje Prison shortly.

  2. Fayose,Nigerians area too smart for u to pull wool over their eyes. When u were wishing PMB death & evil, I guess u forgot that there’s God who shows mercy to whosoever he pleases & controls everything we do. It has now dawned on you that no matter the amount of illfeeling you have against your fellow human, it’s only God’s will on that person that matters & counts. Shame on you, Fayose!
