Cleric calls for prayers over threat of breakup

Following the threats of breakup of Nigeria from several quarters, an Abuja based evangelist, Tosin Ogunsanlu has called on Nigerians to conduct warfare prayer to save the nation from disintegration.

“Threats of breakup by the Igbo to form the Biafran nation following quit notice from Arewa Youths should not be seen as mere threats.

“It is the unity of the nation that is under attack not by foreign powers but powers of darkness”, Pastor Ogunsanlu, who heads the Rural Crusade for Christ International Ministry disclosed.

According to him, the unity of faith the nation is enjoying now is a big setback to the plans of darkness, thus the move to breakup the nation at all cost.

“Many people have their destiny tied to the unity of Nigeria, however since the power of darkness does not want anyone to succeed or peace to reign anywhere, they are determined to undermine Nigeria”, Ogunsanlu stated.

The pastor who is holding a-five-day crusade tagged, “Help From Above”, at Sango Otta main Motor Park, Ogun State, disclosed that prayer is necessary for spiritual and physical well being of the people, noting that, “this is the reason the crusade is equally packaged with a-one-day medical outreach.”

Pastor Ogunsanlu who spoke to newsmen during the first day of the crusade, disclosed that the medical exercise is a major part of the ministry’s programme at all their crusades.

“As we take the good tidings of salvation, deliverance breakthrough and spiritual healing to the world, this time around to Awori land via Sango Otta, we also want the people to enjoy physical health wellness by the free medical service we planned for them on Saturday, July 8”.

According to the pastor, the crusade is to lead people into divine help as no arm of the flesh can ever produce any lasting impact in the life of anyone.

“Today our nation is bedeviled by so many atrocities far beyond the imaginations of our founding fathers. The land is so polluted that no power or act of man can rescue anyone except the power of God. The governments at all strata are at loss as to what to make out of the situation. Even the government agreed that the economy is in bad shape, so what can the ordinary people do?”

Pastor Ogunsanlu therefor called for prayers to hold at strategic locations in the nation, in order to bind the hands of darkness presently warring against her.
