Stella Oduah advises Buhari on Dieziani’s trial

Senator Stella Oduah has urged the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to follow due process in investigating and prosecuting corruption allegations against former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

She stated this while speaking to reporters in Abuja on Tuesday.

Oduah, who herself is a former Minister of Aviation, said that Alison-Madueke should be tried in the court and be convicted before the seizure of her property.

“We have laws in this country. We have processes and policies on how things ought to be done. If we are law-abiding, then we must do things according to the law.

“Anything outside that is going to be illegal, in my own view,” she said.

A Federal High Court in Lagos had on August 28, ordered the final forfeiture of N7.6billion being alleged loot recovered from Alison-Madueke.

September 22 has been fixed, to hear the application for the final forfeiture of four properties valued at N2.6billion, linked to Allison-Madueke and her associates.

  1. Madam you are completely daft, the law which the EFCC evoked for forfeiture for proceeds of crime is a valid law that has been docile for up to 30 years. Unfortunately, this set of rogue senators are not aware of it. Pls Efcc make sure u trace all Stella’s hidden properties. A world of vanity!!

  2. Odumah herself is a half educated person after all she claimed an MBA from a University in Virginia ( in Laurenceville) which did not or does not offer such in the college on her website !!! Speaking with forked tongue!!! Mtcheeeeeeeew

  3. Of all the stories in Adelove, I chose to read this one going by Stella’s antecedent. Am I surprised at the rubbish gushing from her mouth? The Aviation Agency she administered is still reeling from the near-white elephant project she sunk capital fund to renovate. Ofcourse, we all know what was actually renovated. Shior!!!
