Alvaro Morata dismisses Chelsea exit and would happily sign a ten year contract

Alvaro Morata insists he’d be happy to sign a TEN year contract at Chelsea despite being quoted as finding London too “stressful”.

The striker recently gave an interview to Italian media in which he appeared to reveal his regret at leaving Juventus in 2016.

Morata was quoted as saying that he loved living in Italy and was finding London too much to take in.

The comments sparked fears among Chelsea fans that their new attacker might be planning an early exit.

But Morata is adamant he is enjoying his time at Stamford Bridge and claims his Italian interview got lost in translation.

The ace said: “We have a problem of understanding the interview. If Chelsea offered me ten years I would probably sign it.

“If I can make good and improve I can maybe stay here longer than five years.

“We have a problem with the interview, all I said was that I was happy at Juventus.

“I want to say in the future when I finish my career I move from London, but I am happy in London with my wife.

“I really like London now, but when I finish my career and I have a child I might want to move back to my country, this is normal. It is stressful only because of the traffic, but it is a wonderful city.
