Barcelona Football Club defeated Chelsea FC in their round of 16 encounter yesterday, to move into the quarter final stages. A Nigerian journalist and former worker in Bayelsa State Government has however taken the celebration to another level as he celebrated the win with his family.

The man identified as Eberiye Christopher is regarded as a hard core Barca Fan and he couldn’t contain his excitement as his team defeated their opponent yesterday at the 2nd leg encounter of the round of 16 Champions’ League game.

The man ensured his whole family including his baby daughter wore Barcelona jerseys to celebrate the Spanish club’s Champions league qualification.

The man who apparently woke up in a happy mood – continued with his excitement as he shared a picture of him flying the Barcelona flag on his way to work this morning in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital.

According to him, ‘he’s going to a suburb in Yenagoa this morning to receive some decamped fans.

Barcelona put on a spectacle on the Nou Camp stage as they beat Chelsea to seal their place in the UEFA Campions League quarter finals.

Lionel Messi scored twice and also gave a superb assist to Dembele for another as Chelsea crashed out of the Champions League losing 4-1 on aggregate after the first leg ended 1-1 at the Stamford Bridge.

Recollect that before the last 2 encounters with Chelsea FC, the Barcelona’s play-maker had never cored against the London team. Their first leg match in Stamford Bridge saw him scoring an equalizer after Willain had initially set Chelsea on lead. It was joy all over for the fans of the Argentinian who is regarded to have scored against every big football teams in Europe, except Chelsea FC.

He however sealed the achievement yesterday evening on his home ground at Camp Nou with a double strike and an assist to send the London team out of the most lucrative club competition in the world.
